I’ve been a landlord now for nearly three years. I’ve got three rental properties with a total of 8 units among them – yeah I know its not big, but it’s a start. I actually live in one of my rental units, so technically I have 7 paying tenants. Check out how I got into my first rental property.
I actually got into property investing because my girlfriend (now wife) got me to read Rich Dad Poor Dad as a way to get me to stop moaning about working for someone else. As corny as that book it is, it has motiviated me to buy that first place and keep on trying. The goal is to someday be self-sufficient.
I don’t make any promises that this blog will be full of great advice or help you make a million dollars. In fact, I guarantee it won’t help you make a million. Hopefully you can learn a thing or two, have a laugh at some of the weird stuff that happens, and contribute to the conversation.
